EGYM – Wellpass App
Overview
LeisureLabs were engaged by EGYM to deliver a new feature in the Wellpass mobile app, incorporating data visualisation and streaks-based gamification capabilities.
Challenge
The project objective was to increase workout participation and workout completion consistency.
EGYM were looking for a technology partner with expertise in creating engaging mobile app user experiences which cue, motivate and reward users.
EGYM were looking for a modern web application solution which uses the Ionic framework to be exposed in the EGYM Wellpass mobile app.

Approach
LeisureLabs developed a software requirements specification and designs in collaboration with EGYM’s internal product team, and provided project management, design & engineering resources to design, develop, test and launch the feature.
Solution
The new feature is due to be made available in EGYM Wellpass mobile app in the coming months.
Results
LeisureLabs delivered the project in a four month period, on time and on budget.
Following the initial engagement, LeisureLabs has been retained by EGYM on an ongoing basis for further development of the Wellpass mobile application and EGYM technology platform.
