We’re delighted to share that Claire Evans has joined LeisureLabs as Group Head of Marketing, leading brand, marketing and communications across both LeisureLabs and Connect.
Claire’s appointment reflects where we are as a business, and where we’re heading next.
A Natural Evolution
Claire isn’t new to us.
Over ten years ago, she first worked with Alex Peacock and Danny Woods on a project for Nuffield Health and Netpulse. Since then, they’ve reunited on multiple initiatives across the industry, collaborating, building and learning together.
What’s different now is scale and ambition.
With Connect launched and LeisureLabs continuing to play a central role in shaping digital strategy across the sector, it’s the right moment to bring marketing leadership fully in-house — not just to support growth, but to help elevate the wider industry conversation.
Why This Matters
The fitness, leisure and wellness industry is built on helping people improve their health and quality of life. It’s purpose-driven, people-first and impact-led.
But as technology evolves and expectations rise, the way we talk about innovation, collaboration and digital delivery matters more than ever.
Claire joins with a clear mandate:
- Strengthen the LeisureLabs and Connect brands
- Raise the profile of smarter, more collaborative technology models
- Encourage shared learning and open industry dialogue
- Ensure marketing contributes to real, measurable impact at customer level
Looking Ahead
As part of her role, Claire will also lead marketing for the UK edition of the Fitness Technology Summit in partnership with AltaDX Group.
The Summit represents exactly the kind of industry collaboration we believe in — bringing together operators, investors and technology leaders to share insights, challenge assumptions and shape what comes next.
We’re excited to have Claire officially on board.
